About Axial Arms
While building my first AR years ago, I identified a fundamental flaw in the aftermarket gas block design — most rely solely on set screws or clamp screws with nothing to mechanically prevent them from backing out under real world conditions. The military addresses this by pinning the A2 front sight/gas block combo, creating a true mechanical connection. I set out to combine the best of both approaches: a gas block fully compatible with aftermarket handguards that also employs a mechanical connection to positively lock the screws and block in place.
Axial Arms works with Rosco Manufacturing and Ballistic Advantage barrels. We build and modify extremely reliable parts and assemblies soley in the United States of America. Our patented pinned tab gas block and the attachment method use two cylinder-tipped set screws to create a mechanical interface between the gas block and barrel. This tab design ensures consistent alignment, allowing gas to cycle the weapon reliably for continued operation.
Barrels, gas blocks, cylinder-tipped set screws, and any other custom parts are manufactured or modified to tolerances equal to or less than 0.002" for uncompromising precision and performance.
